NEW DELHI: Continuing its efforts to provide liquid medical oxygen (LMO) the Indian Railways on Friday said that it has delivered 1,118 MT of LMO to different states, which is the highest so far in a single day.The railways has so far delivered 13,319 MT of LMO to different states in 814 tankers and 208 Oxygen Expresses.

PATIALA: Punjab Medical Education and Research Minister Shri O P Soni said here today that the existing bed capacity of government medical college hospitals in Punjab was being increased by 25 percent to save precious human lives from the second wave of COVID-19. Mr Soni was interacting with media persons here today after taking stock of the care and treatment arrangements for COVID patients at Rajindra Hospital. 450 MT liquid medical oxygen delivered by six Oxygen Express trains

NEW DELHI: Indian Railways' Oxygen Express trains have delivered 450 metric tonnes (MT) to different states through 26 tankers.In a statement, the Railway Ministry said: "Indian Railways is continuing its journey of delivering liquid medical oxygen to various parts of the country. So far, 450 metric tonnes have been delivered to Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi in six 'Oxygen Expresses through 26 tankers covering more than 10,000 km (in empty and loaded conditions)."
