Dr Lal Path Labs and RCED distribute medical equipments to DDMA, Srinagar

SRNAGAR: In order to meet the situation of COVID-19, Lal Pathlabs Foundation has sanctioned a project “ COVID-19 Emergency Response” to the Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED), Chadigarh. After covering Haryana and Himachal Pradesh , the RCED in association with Dr LalPath Labs Foundation has distributed medical items in J and K on Monday.

Paramjit Singh, principal director, RCED, Chandigarh, stated that requirement for the medical items was identified from the office of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Srinagar and the list of required medical items was prepared and arranged. The distribution of medical equipments was held in the office of the deputy commissioner/district magistrate/chairman, district disaster management authority, Srinagar on December.

The items were handed over to Mr Mohammad Aijaz, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar; Mr Hanief Balkhi, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Mr Tauseef Hamid (Lab Owner). The gesture of Dr LalpPath Labs Foundation and the RCED was highly appreciated.

The dignataries present from Dr LalPath Labs Foundation were Mr Aijaz Territory Manager, Mr Syed Tehseen, senior area head along with Mr Jaiwan Singh, senior project officer, RCED. Oxygen concentrators and pulse oximeter were distributed.

The medical equipments have already been distributed in the state of Haryana in association with the directorate of Health, Haryana and Shivalik Development Board, directorate of health, Himachal Pradesh and directorate of health Jammu.

Singh further said that requirements were procured from the CMOs of Yamunagar, Panchkula, Ambala, Hamirpur, Kangra, Solan, Mandi, Shimla, Kullu and Jammu and medical items were distributed to them earlier.
