AMRITSAR: The Diocese of Amritsar, Church of North India (CNI), in collaboration with a team of six doctors comprising child specialists, skin specialists, and 15 others from Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMC), Ludhiana, held a medical camp in villages Talwandi Tapala, and Dyal Bhatti, as a part of the ongoing relief measures of the diocese there.

The medical camp, which was a part of the Diocese's Operation Faith in Action initiative, aimed to address the health concerns of the flood-affected populations. The team from CMC Ludhiana worked tirelessly alongside the staff and volunteers of the diocese to provide medical care, distribute essential supplies, and offer health education to the villagers.

“We are grateful for the support of CMC Ludhiana in our efforts to serve the flood-affected communities. The medical camp has been a huge success, and we are thankful for the dedication and expertise of the medical team, ” said The Right Reverend Manoj Charan, Bishop, Diocese of Amritsar, CNI. The medical camp provided a range of services, including general health check-ups, treatment for skin and water-borne diseases, and distribution of medicines.
