CHANDIGARH: Distribution of medical equipments under COVID-19 emergency on behalf of Dr. LalPath Labs Foundation by Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) to the CMO’s of six districts of Himachal Pradesh namely Hamirpur, Kangra, Solan, Mandi, Shimla and Kullu.
In order to cope up with the situation of COVID-19, Dr. Lal Pathlabs Foundation sanctioned a project to Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) named “COVID-19 Emergency Response”. The project includes the distribution of the medical items in in the States of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
The medical equipments/items have already been distributed in the State of Haryana in association with Directorate of Health, Govt. of Haryana and Shivalik Development Board. The requirements were procured from the CMOs of Yamunagar, Panchkula and Ambala and corresponding items were handed over to them.
The main objective is to help the Government of Himachal fight against COVID 19 by getting the required equipments for hospitals for providing proper treatment hence improving lives of the community through high quality and preventive healthcare facilities.
Under this, the requirement for the equipment was identified from all the six districts of Himachal Prades viz Hamirpur, Kangra, Solan, Mandi, Shimla and Kullu, and the list of items needed by them to deal with the present situation was made.
The distribution of the Equipment is going to be organized in district Solan, Mandi, Shimla and Kullu on 12th and district Hamirpur and Kangra on 14th October 2021.
The following items will be distributed in each district: Oximeter, Hand Sanitizer Dispenser, Steam Inhaler, Sanitizers, Masks, Infrared Thermometers, Shoe Cover, Disposable caps and PPE Kits. All the equipment will be hand over to the Chief Medical Officers of the respective districts.
