KAITHAL: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini had hurt millions of Dalits and played a cruel joke with Amneet P. Kumar widow of Y Puran Kumar an IPS officer who was forced to commit suicide.
Rakesh Bahadur president All India Ambedkar Mahasabha in a press release here today has alleged that following complaint by Amneet Kumar the police have registered and FIR against the nominated officers with the aim of hushing up the Matter under the scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
However the provisions contained in the law were grossly disregarded because according to the amended section 18-A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, there is a provision for immediate arrest of accused without any investigation and without the permission of the competent authority and provision for anticipatory bail for accused has been abolished Bahadur said. The BJP government is ignoring the provisions of this Act to save those guilty officers, this proves that the BJP is working to crush the ideology of Baba Saheb by harassing the Dalits.
All India Ambedkar Mahasabha has demanded that under provisions contained in the law. Shatrujeet Kapoor DGP and Rohtak S.P. Narendra Bijarania be arrested immediately.
