HP Vidhan Sabha Winter Session will be held in Tapovan from November 26 to December 5.

DHARAMSALA: Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania announced that the tenth session of the fourteenth Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly will be held from November 26, 2025, to December 5, 2025. 

The Speaker stated that this session will consist of eight sittings, with December 4, 2025, designated as a non-official member's working day. There will be holidays on November 29 and 30, 2025. This year, the Budget Session will consist of 15 sittings, the Monsoon Session will consist of 12, and the Winter Session will consist of eight sittings, bringing the total to 35 sittings in the calendar year. He stated that this Assembly session will be the longest to be held in Tapovan. Previously, a seven-day session was held in Dharamshala in 2005. 

Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that no laxity will be tolerated in security during the winter session in Tapovan and surveillance will be ensured through CCTV and drone cameras. The government passes issued to the officers and employees of the Himachal Pradesh Government and the Assembly Secretariat will have to be prominently displayed so that there is minimum need for frisking by security personnel.
