KAITHAL: An alleged organized racket of flesh trade was busted by the Cheeka police on Saturday by raiding the Yes Hotel located on Guhla Road Cheeka. A case was registered against the hotel owner under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act and the accused was arrested.
Giving information, police spokesperson said that Manager Police Station Cheeka PSI Aman along with his team was present in Pehowa Chowk, Cheeka area for prevention of crimes. Meanwhile, the police received a secret information that the hotel owner, Gopal resident of Peedal, in Yes Hotel located opposite the municipality on Guhla Road, was calling women from outside and invited customers to do immoral acts and a part of the money received from them is kept with himself as commission. Taking the information seriously, the police team immediately raided the said hotel.
Four women and a customer were found in objectionable condition from the spot. During interrogation, the women revealed that hotel owner Gopal calls them for prostitution and divides the money taken from customers among themselves. On receiving information about the matter, DSP Headquarters Bir Bhan reached the spot and necessary legal process was completed. A case was registered against the accused hotel owner under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at Cheeka police station and the accused Gopal, a resident of Peedal village was arrested. Further action is being taken by the police as per rules.
