Dead body of Kaithal youth recovered, case solved within 6 hours

KAITHAL: Taking prompt action in the case of recovery of dead body of a youth in the kaithal police station area, an accused has been arrested. The incident was solved by the Special Detective Unit in just 6 hours. 

Giving information, DSP Gurvinder Singh said that according to the complaint of Rakesh Kumar, resident of Deha Basti,  Jakhauli Adda, Kaithal, his 20-year-old elder son Ashu used to run a grocery shop and like every day, he used to go out for a walk at around 4 in the morning. 

At around 4 am on the morning of 4 December,  Ashu received a call from someone on his mobile, after which he went out of the house while talking. Concern increased when Ashu did not pick up the phone despite repeated calls from his family. After some time, the family got information that the body of a young man was lying in the bushes near Ramnagar gate. When the family members reached the spot, they saw that the body was that of Ashu and he was brutally murdered by hitting his head. Regarding which a case of murder was registered against unknown person in the city police station. 

During the interrogation of accused Ajay, it was revealed that Ashu and Ajay planned to steal paddy from a loaded truck. On the morning of 4 December, Ajay called Ashu after which both of them reached Jind Road bypass in the morning sitting on Ajay's bike. After that both of them climbed on top of a truck and started dropping the paddy bags. When Ajay cut the rope tied on the truck with a knife to bring down the paddy bags ,  Ashu fell headon on the road due to wrong rope cutting and died on the spot. Out of fear Ajay ran away leaving Ashu there. The police is taking action in the case as per rules by making changes in the sections under which case was registered initially . The accused was produced in the court which sent him in judicial custody.
