KAITHAL: Governor and Chancellor of Universities Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh, has appointed educationist and researcher Prof. Dr. Rajendra Kumar Anayath as the new Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit University, Kaithal. Prof. Anayath has earlier served successfully as VC of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal and BPS Women's University, Khanpur. They are an international name in the field of printing and media technology.
Due to his excellent contribution in the field of education, he has also been awarded the rank of Honorary Colonel. His appointment at the Sanskrit University is being seen as a coordination of traditional Sanskrit education and modern technology. . Under Prof.Anayath's leadership the university will not only preserve the ancient texts and language but also connect them with the modern digital age. Earlier on April 2, on the completion of the tenure of Ramesh Chandra Bhardwaj, Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Dayanand University Rohtak, Prof. Rajbir Singh was given the additional charge of Vice Chancellor of the University.
