KAITHAL: Guhla police has arrested four minors and arrested an adult accused in the case of death of minor Navraj which took place in a fight between two groups of students on Wednesday evening.
Police spokesperson said that the team of SI Ramchandra and SI Ishwar Singh, under the leadership of Guhla police station in-charge Inspector Birbhan, took action and arrested two minors, 16 and 17 years old, residents of village Ramthali, 16-year-old minor, resident of Ladana Chakku, 17-year-old minor, resident of Kharkan and 20-year-old Navjot, resident of Dera Kharkan .They were caught from village Kharkan on Friday evening. During investigation, it was revealed that there was a dispute between Vineet, a resident of Pakki Pisaul, and a 17-year-old boy, a resident of Ramthali, in the school while playing a volleyball match.
After this Vineet and Kishore called their friends. Navraj, a resident of Kharkan, had died after being stabbed in a dispute that took place near Ladana Chakku Minor Ramthali. The knife used in the crime has been recovered from the teenager. Four minors have been sent to a juvenile home in Karnal and Navjot has been sent to jail. Efforts are also being made to arrest other accused who are absconding in this case.
