KAITHAL: Guhla-Cheeka SDM Captain Pramesh Kumar said that one of the four mega yatras organized by the Haryana government to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Singh Ji, will enter Dhanauri village of Kaithal district on November 21, where the yatra will be given a grand welcome. This journey started from Rodi village of Sirsa district on November 8. All concerned departments and people of Sikh community should make complete preparations to welcome the Yatra. It is a matter of utmost reverence and dignity.
Guhla-Cheeka SDM Pramesh Kumar was holding a meeting of officials and representatives of Sikh community in the auditorium of Mini Secretariat on Monday and giving necessary guidelines. Kaithal SDM Ajay Singh was also present with him on this occasion. He said that the yatra will enter Dhanauri village in Kaithal on November 21. From where it will go to Habri via various villages including Barta, Sanghan, Malkhedi, Padla, Vishwakarma Chowk Kaithal, Pundri and then the night halt will be back at Kaithal Shri Guru Neem Sahib Gurdwara. From where the next morning the journey will go through various parts of the city via Siwan, Polad, Kangthali, Dera Karseva and on the route beyond Cheeka. He said that all the departments should seriously fulfill their responsibilities related to their departments, so that there is no chaos of any kind during the yatra.
SDM Pramesh Kumar directed that a grand and traditional welcome to the Yatra will be ensured upon entering Kaithal district. For this, welcome gates should be prepared at many places. Special cleanliness campaigns should be conducted on the yatra route and the places where the Sangat (devotees) stay. To maintain smooth traffic, a detailed traffic plan should be prepared, so that the general public and devotees do not face any problem. Similarly, strong security arrangements should be made, in which adequate deployment of police force should be ensured.
SDM Ajay Singh specifically asked to ensure that reverence and religious dignity is maintained throughout the event. He said that remembering the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, no stone should be left unturned to make this grand event a success in Kaithal district. This journey will bring the teachings and sacrifice of Guru Sahib to everyone.
On this occasion, Executive Engineer Varun Kansal, Dr. Birbal Dalal from Red Cross, Ajit Singh, Saheb Singh, Ranjit Singh from Sikh community and others were present.
