KAITHAL: Additional Sessions Judge Dr Amit Kumar Garg has sentenced three accused Praveen alias Binny, resident of Veer-Bangra Hall, Ramgarh Road Kalayat, Shubham resident of Chandana, and Lamba Khedi, resident Kamal, to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh each convicting them in a murder case.
Giving information, DSP Bir Bhan said that on the evening of July 20, 2020, the deceased Rajbir alias Bittu Rana, resident of Kalayat, was returning home from his farm on a motorcycle, when the accused chased him on a motorcycle and shot him dead. In this regard, a case was registered in Kalayat police station on the complaint of the deceased's brother Navneet. The case was investigated by CIA-1 Kaithal. The police arrested all the accused and presented a detailed charge sheet in the court. The case was argued seriously and strongly in the court by public prosecution Mukesh Kumar. On the basis of proof and evidence, the Honorable Court sentenced the three accused to life imprisonment, whereas in the same case, the accused Sunil, Hansraj and Raju have been acquitted.
