THE WEEK-HANSA SURVEY-2025 just announced its Best University Ranking, in which GNDU placed 12th in the category of Government Multidisciplinary Universities - All India. Its All-India Ranking has risen from 24th in 2016 to 12th by 2025.

Guru Nanak Dev University annouces Rs. 8,000 Monthly Scholarship to Ph.D Scholars

AMRITSAR: The Guru Nanak Dev University has introduced a new scholarship scheme to promote research among University Ph.D scholars. Under this initiative, Ph.D students will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs. 8,000 starting from July 2025. However, recipients will be required to publish research papers regularly to qualify for the scholarship.

AMRITSAR: The Senate and Syndicate of the Guru Nanak Dev University approved the Budget Estimates of 481 Crore 72 Lac and 91 thousand for the year 2019-20.  University would spend 53.44 per cent amount on further improvement in Teaching, Allied Teaching, Research and Education. It was specially mentioned that this year also more financial assistance in form of scholarships will be provided to deserving students so that they could also get higher education to contribute in the development of the Country.
