AMRITSAR: Guru Nanak Dev University paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary marathon runner Fauja Singh, who passed away recently at the age of 114, with a one-day memorial event held on campus. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Karamjeet Singh, announced that the university will organize an annual commemorative event to honor Fauja Singh’s legacy, inspiring future generations with his remarkable life and achievements.
