AMRITSAR: Sukhbir Singh Badal President Akali Dal has congratulated all the students, staff, and alumni of Panjab University on their milestone victory in forcing the Government of India to announce the schedule for Senate elections.
He Said that this victory has been made possible by the strength of unity demonstrated by students through a peaceful democratic struggle. He also congratulate all the well-wishers and supporters of this just and honourable cause.
The whole of Punjab is proud of our youth, especially our students, today.
I also thank and wholeheartedly congratulate the entire team of Students Organisation of India (SOI) for playing a big role in this struggle, he added.
