CGC University Founder Chancellor Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal Honoured with Prestigious International Award in Tokyo

MOHALI: The global academic community has honoured CGC University Founder Chancellor Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal with the prestigious international title “The Father of Education” in Tokyo, Japan, for his unparalleled contribution to the field of education at the global level. 

This honour recognizes his remarkable 25-year journey in transforming education and shaping skilled professionals across various countries. The award “The Father of Education” is considered extremely rare and highly prestigious. It stands as a testament to his lifelong dedication to making education accessible, affordable, and a life-transforming force for students worldwide. 

Adding further significance to this recognition, Japan released a commemorative coin engraved with the title “The Father of Education” to honour his extraordinary service, leadership, and impact in the field of education. This ceremonial release immortalizes his legacy built over 25 glorious years.

 Prominent dignitaries including Hiromi Sumi-san (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry – Southwest Asia Division), Umesh Nautiyal (Secretary, Embassy of India, Japan), AOTS representatives Satoshi Mori-san & Yua Suzuki-san, Yuma Mori-san & Yasuhiko Yoshida-san (Brexa Cross Border & AOTS), Marathe Ashlesha Arun-san (University of Tsukuba), representatives of Kyokujitsu Corporation, along with a large number of Indian community members attended the event. 

Addressing the gathering, Founder Chancellor Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal said, " My life’s mission is to ensure that education reaches every deserving learner, irrespective of economic background.”
