CHANDIGARH:"A high incidence of coronary artery disease (CAD) was reported in a first-of-its-kind study by the Department of Cardiology in the Advanced Cardiac Centre of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.

LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday announced an extension of Corona curfew for one week till June 7, but has partially relaxed the restrictions in the state as the Covid situation improves.

SHIMLA: The meeting of State Cabinet held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur reviewed the Covid-19 situation in the State. Thus, in order to break the virus chain, the Cabinet decided to further extend the Corona Curfew in the whole State till 31st May, 2021 with same restrictions. It was decided that Department of Health would encourage private hospitals in the State to increase vaccination in their institutions. It was felt that MLAs may review along with concerned SDM the welfare/ treatment being provided to Covid patients in home isolation.  

PATNA: The fatality rate due to Covid-19 in Bihar is a cause of worry, and many attribute it to the poor health infrastructure in the state and the ill-preparedness of the Bihar government during the second wave of the pandemic.
