AMRITSAR: Coronation vaccination will be mandatory for pilgrims going to Pakistan on the occasion of Guru Nanak's birth anniversary. It will also be necessary to report the corona test 72 hours in advance.
Disclosing this here today Chief Secretary of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the SGPC was sending a contingent of Sikh pilgrims to Pakistan on the occasion of Guru Nanak's birth anniversary. Pilgrims going to Pakistan must have both doses of corona vaccine.
He said that in this regard the Pakistan High Commission New Delhi has informed the SGPC by telephone.
He also informed that as per the notification received from the embassy, the coroner test report is also mandatory for the pilgrims 72 hours in advance. The Chief Secretary said that the pilgrims who have submitted their passports should pay attention to this so that they do not face any problem while traveling to Pakistan.
The Chief Secretary of the SGPC said that a camp for corona test would also be organized for the pilgrims at the SGPC office, the dates of which would be informed to the devotees soon
