CHANDIGARH: The BJP government in Haryana has become a minority government after three independent MLAs who supported BJP from outside had withdrawn their support and extended their support to Congress party.

Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini is expected to face trouble after the opposition leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda has demanded resignation of Saini and president's rule in the state. It is expected that Congress would stake claim to form government in Punjab. The BJP government was surviving with the help of independent MLAs after JJP had withdrawn support from BJP.

The thr independent MLAS are Sombir Sangwan, Randhir Gollen and Dharampal Gonder. They said that they had supported the BKP with the hope that the party would listen to the demands of the people of Haryana. The BJP had earlier replaced CM Manohar Lal Khattar to overcome the anti-incumbency in the state. The withdrawal of support by three MLAs has changed the political equations in Haryana.
