AMRITSAR: The government has decided to pay Rs 50, 000 as compensation to the legal heirs of those who died due to Corona virus during the Covid-19 epidemic Can be deposited at the office.
Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner Mr. Gurpreet Singh Khaira said that this campaign has been re-launched by the District Administration and District Legal Services Authority to compensate the heirs of the deceased.
He said that the following documents should be attached with the application form in this regard: Copy of identity card of deceased person, copy of identity card of claimant, copy of identity card of claimant and relation of deceased person, positive report of Covid 19 test. Copy of, summary of causes of death issued by the hospital (if death occurred in the hospital) and medical certificate of cause of death, death certificate of the deceased, certificate of legal heirs, bank account of the claimant canceled Bank check, no-objection certificate of legal heirs of the deceased (where the claimant is one).
