On the first day of the camp held at the SGPC office, 120 pilgrims on their way to Pakistan underwent corona test

AMRITSAR:On the occasion of Guru Nanak's birth anniversary, a corona screening camp was organized by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to facilitate the pilgrims going to Pakistan.

On the first day of the two-day camp at the SGPC headquarters here on Sunday, about 120 devotees took their corona test today.
The team sent by the health department in which Dr. Atamjit Singh Boparai, Dr. Shivdev Singh, Dr. Chandni, Dr. Sahil and L.T. Mr. Dilbag Singh and others, took samples for corona examination of pilgrims going to Pakistan.

On this occasion the superintendent of the Shiromani Committee Mr Malkit Singh Bahirwal, Incharge of Travel Department. Balwinder Singh Khairabad was also present.

It is to be mentioned that the pilgrims going to Pakistan have to report the corona, due to which the corona screening camp was organized by the SGPC in collaboration with the health department for the convenience of the pilgrims.
Meanwhile, the Shiromani Committee has completed the necessary preparations for the Jatha and the Jatha will leave the Shiromani Committee office on November 17 as per Sikh tradition.
