AMRITSAR: Brigadier K S Bawa ceremonially handed over the command of NCC Group Headquarters, Amritsar to Brigadier Kulbir Singh on 18 Oct 2025. The change of command took place during a formal ceremony at the Group Headquarters, attended by staff and officials.
Brigadier Kulbir Singh takes the helm of the Amritsar Group, which oversees eight units and is responsible for the training and development of more than twenty one thousands cadets across 344 colleges and schools in the region.
Brigadier Kulbir Singh is an officer with more than three decades of distinguished service.
Brigadier Kulbir Singh was commissioned into the Bihar Regiment of the Indian Army. He brings extensive experience to the role, having served in various command and staff appointments throughout their career.
During his tenure, Brigadier K S Bawa led the NCC Group Amritsar with distinction. Under his leadership, the Group achieved significant milestones in cadet training and national-building activities, including preparing Thal Sena Camp team for PHHP&C Dte and winning the competition in Boys category for last two years. Brigadier K S Bawa now proceeds to his next posting as Gp Cdr, Mumbai Gp.
