MOHALI: The campus of CGC University, Mohali, transformed into an unparalleled hub of energy over the past two days as the SAVISKAR 2025 techno-cultural festival unveiled a spectacular fusion of technological brilliance and artistic radiance. The fest was not merely an event but a dynamic battleground for future leaders to prove their mettle.
SAVISKAR 2025 presented a powerful convergence of traditional and modern competitions. While the skies over the campus glittered with the lights of a Drone Show, the ground was alive with the technical expertise displayed by students in Robo Wars and Hackathons. Simultaneously, students proved their intellectual prowess in strategic debates during the National MUN, Thinkathon, and the Best Manager Competition. The spectacle was completed by the Battle of Bands and Dance Contests, which set the audience on fire, while the Drift Show thrilled motorsport enthusiasts. Students who triumphed in the competitions were awarded cash prizes worth ₹31, 000, ₹21, 000, ₹11, 000, and more, totaling lakhs of rupees. Among the top winners, Raghav Sharma clinched the National MUN title, Divya Yadav won the Best Manager Competition, and Team Slot Smart took home top honors in the Thinkathon.
The evenings at SAVISKAR 2025 were filled with musical enchantment. Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma’s powerful voice elevated the atmosphere. The celebrations peaked when Bollywood’s legendary music composers, Salim–Sulaiman, took the stage. Their electrifying live concert transformed the campus into a sea of rhythm, light, and pure euphoria. Adding to the glamour, promotions for the upcoming Punjabi films "Godday Godday Chaa 2" and "Soohe Ve Cheere Waleya" drew significant crowds. A variety of delicious food stalls offering flavors from across the country made the fest a truly magnificent Cultural Carnival.
