AMRITSAR: The newly established Khalsa University (KU) today commenced its academic session 2025-2026 by organizing an ‘Ardas Diwas’ to seek the blessings from the almighty. Former Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Ji and Head Granthi of Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) Giani Sultan Singh who presided over the religious program asked the students to never feel let down while facing hardships in life.
He said only those with a mentally strong persona achieve success in life. Meanwhile, the students of Gurmat Study Center, performed melodious Kiratn following the Bhog of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji at the Gurdwara sahib on the campus. KU Vice Chancellor Dr. Mehal Singh earlier welcomed all and said as per the tradition of Khalsa institution under Khalsa College Charitable Society (KCCS), the program was arranged on the commencement of the academic session of the varsity.
He thanked Chancellor Satyajit Singh Majithia and Pro-Chancellor Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina for the long battle for establishment of the university and highlighted its purpose in the profession higher education.
