AMRITSAR: Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney donated several Motorboats, Ambulances for Medical Aid, Ration & Hygiene Kits , Sanitary Pads and fodder for livestock.
A chopper also have been arranged for air dropping of the relief material in various flood affected areas.
Dozens of trucks carrying Relief material were flagged from Amritasr by Dr Sahney , DC Sakshi Sawhney & GS Bhullar Comissioner Police & Moti Bhatia Mayor .
Motorboats will be delivered at Village Chakphoole followed by relief material at Ajnala centre & Sakinala , Chamairi & Ramdas villages.
Dr Sahney said its a great misfortune that poor farmers have lost their livelihoods & their houses & fields submerged in water creating a havoc.
Dr. Sahney appreciated punjab govt for ordering a special girdawari for assessment of damage of crop & property and compensation.
