AMRITSAR: Director of Language Department Punjab Jaswant Singh appeared before Akal Takht Sahib highest seat of Sikh religion here today and presented his case before Singh Sahib.
Jaswant Singh was wearing a beard at the time of his appearance, so as per Singh Sahib's orders, he was asked to untie his beard, after which he appeared with his beard untied.
Following the complaints received at Sri Akal Takht Sahib regarding the hurting of Sikh sentiments in a function held in Srinagar recently, Director of Language Department Punjab Jaswant Singh was summoned by the Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj at the Secretariat Sri Akal Takht Sahib today.
