PHAGWARA: A mega blood donation camp was organized by the Sant Nirankari Mission at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhavan, Rihana Jattan. Along with devotees of the Mission, residents from nearby areas also came forward enthusiastically to donate blood. A total of 124 units were collected during the drive.
The camp was inaugurated jointly by H.S. Chawla from Ludhiana and M.L. Sharma, Zonal Incharge from Pathankot. While presenting certificates of appreciation to the donors, they recalled the teachings of Baba Hardev Singh Ji, who made blood donation an integral part of the Mission’s spiritual service. “Blood should flow in veins, not in drains, ” they quoted, calling it a timeless message that continues to inspire Nirankari devotees towards service and selfless contribution.
The organizers extended special thanks to the expert medical team from Civil Hospital, Kapurthala, for their cooperation in conducting the camp. They emphasized that such initiatives go beyond blood donation alone; they embody the message of compassion, service, and unity shared by Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, who teaches that humanity is the highest religion.
Narinder Pal Singh, head of the Rihana Jattan branch, and Sudarshan Kumar, regional director from Kapurthala, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, donors, volunteers, and devotees for their participation. Special attention to cleanliness at the venue and quality refreshments for donors were highlighted as key features of the camp.
