CHANDIGARH: The Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED), Chandigarh under the leadership of its Director Mr Paramjit Singh is proud to the signing of a MoU with Zoho Corporation, India’s home grows cloud-software giant in an effort to travel the road from young dreams to life long strength. Thus the RCED has become the first in North India to sign such MoU.
The MoU was signed by Mr Paramjit Singh and Mr Mohammed Rameez, Global Head, Zoho Corporation. Prof Dr JK Sehgal Principal PG Government College, Sector 11, Chandigarh was also present on the occasion. The MoU signing ceremony was held at Maya Palace, Chandigarh. It was graced by all dignitaries and guests marking a major milestone in their joint endeavour to uplift youth dream through skill development and entrepreneurship to life long strength.
Zoho Corporation stands as a shining example of India’s capacity for innovation and self-reliance. Founded and head-quartered in India it offers a comprehensive suite of enterprise-software solutions- cloud-based tools for productivity, collaboration, business management and much more. Its rapid ascension reflects the quality of Indian engineering and the vision of digitally empowered nation.
In line with this partnership, certificates were conferred upon the candidates who have successfully completed the latest cohort of skill development program. It aims in empower young for employment and self-employment opportunities. The RCED team extends hearty congratulations to each awardee and looks forward to their out standing contribution this chosen trades.
The timing of this collaboration is especially significant as the GOI under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi has emphasized the “Swadesh” ethos and the agenda of an “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan” which champions the adoption of indigenous products and services. Recently the Ministry of Education directed officials to adopt Soho’s suite of productivity tools for official work, thereby reinforcing the push for domestic digital infrastructure and reducing dependence on foreign software platforms. Additionally senior ministers have publicly switched to Zoho and urged citizens to embrace home-grown technology- a clear signal of confidence in Indian tech innovation.
By partnering with Zoho Corporation, RCED reaffirms its commitment to not only skill development but also to promote the values of Indian entrepreneurship, digital literacy and self-reliant growth, says Paramjit Singh.
