CHANDIGARH: The Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED), in collaboration with Prayas Trust, the women-led social arm of L and T, successfully organized the valedictory ceremony of the Front Desk and Receptionist Training Program UDAAN Chandiagrh. Under this program, a total of 75 female candidates were provided skill training with the objective of enhancing their employability and enabling them to become self-reliant.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Pragati Katoch, who warmly welcomed all the distinguished guests. She also presented the journey of the training program, highlighting the various activities conducted during the training, industry exposure, and the achievements of the trainees. The Chief Guest of the program, Mrs. Anju Narang, Chairperson of Prayas Trust, women led social arm of L and T, congratulated the participants and emphasized that empowering women
through skill development is essential for the overall development of society. Thereafter, Mr. Satvinder Singh, Senior Consultant, RCED, shared his views and mentioned that the training program helped in building confidence and professional skills among the participants.
Later, Mrs. Jasleen Kaur, Project Director, RCED, shared her views and informed that the program achieved a placement rate of over 75 per cent, reflecting the success and impact of the initiative. During the program, the trainer Ms. Harmanjot Kaur also shared her experiences and extended her best wishes to the trainees for their future.
At the end of the program, certificates were distributed to all the successful trainees. The dignitaries congratulated the participants for completing the training and wished them success in their future careers.
