CHANDIGARH: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) joined hands with the Eco Plantation Association and Treefie to organize a meaningful tree plantation drive at 69, Mohali (near Gracian Hospital).
The event witnessed active participation from the students of RCED, guided by facilitators Ms.Simranjot Kaur and Mr. Harshdeep Singh. The collaborative effort was further strengthened by the esteemed presence of representatives from the partnering organizations, including Mr. Malkit Singh, Mr. R.K. Singh, Mr. H.S. Matharu, Mr. Kulmeet Singh Kalon, and Mr. Tanvir Singh, Mr. Rubab Karun Singh from Treefie As part of the initiative, students not only planted trees but were also given a guided session on the importance and characteristics of various medicinal and herbal plants. This experiential
learning opportunity deepened their understanding of the environment and sustainability practices.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and energy as students actively engaged with nature and expressed immense joy in contributing to a greener tomorrow. The event reinforced the message that small steps toward environmental conservation can lead to big changes.
