The historic Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) is on the path of development and progress in espousing the cause of education and propagation of Sikh philosophy and culture. The Society is running 19 educational institutions successfully and 11 Colleges and Schools were opened in the last one decade itself. The KCGC is all set to open three more top class educational institutions in the coming times.

The KCGC inaugurated the Gurmat Studies Centre recently where training is being imparted to students to prepare them for the world-class Preachers, Ragis and Pathis who will be well-versed in various languages to propagate Sikh philosophy and culture.. The KCGC is committed to fulfill the dream of its founding fathers to provide scientific knowledge and dissemination of education to every strata of society. It has emerged as one of the most prestigious bodies, managing educational institutions in the whole of the country.
The society spreads the mission of education through Colleges/Schools, providing value-based education to thousands of students. It has advocated a progressive attitude of mind, giving up all that is dogmatic, according due value to intelligence and logic. All Gurpurab celebrations are religious organized and Kirtans are aired live on its own KCGC-TV (kcgctv.com).
KCGC President Sardar Satayjit Singh Majithia Ji and Honorary Secretary Sardar Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina along with other Office Bearers and Members have been making tireless efforts to strengthen higher education. They work as a team and Council’s Chancellor S. Rajmohinder Singh Majitha, Rector Sardar Lakhbir Singh Lodhinangal, Vice President S.Swinder Singh Kathunangal, additional honourary secretary S. Jatinder Singh Brar, joint secretaries including S.Gunbir Singh, S.Ajmer Singh Heir, S. S.S. Mannan, S.Paramjit Singh Bal, S.Santokh Singh Sethi, S.Rajbir Singh, Ajit Singh Basra and Dr. Kartar Singh Gill are working as a team, with the blessings of the Gurus to make the 18 institutions run successfully.
