NCC Army Wing cadets of S.R. Government College for women celebrated 25 years of Pokhran second Nuclear Test

AMRITSAR: NCC Army Wing cadets of S.R. Government College for women,Amritsar celebrated 25 years of Pokhran second Nuclear Test on 12th May,2023,in the college campus.NCC cadets prepared a Nuclear Power Plant Model on the theme, 'Peaceful use of Nuclear Energy for the development of the nation'.

NCC cadets gave demonstration on the working of the model, how nuclear energy is converted to electrical energy.The prepared model was a good example of the potential benefits of nuclear power for the development of the nation. NCC cadets made posters,wrote articles,delivered speeches celebrating the event. The whole activity was conducted under the supervision of caretaker Ms.Ekta Verma under the able guidance of Principal mam.Pr.Prof.Dr.Daljit kaur and CTO Ekta mam had an interactive session with the cadets. Council members and other staff members were also present on the occasion.
