11th International Yoga Day at the historic Rambagh (Company Bagh)

AMRITSAR: On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2025, the Bharatiya Yog Sansthan (BYS) celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day at the historic Rambagh (Company Bagh) in Amritsar today.

More than 1, 000 yoga practitioners enthusiastically participated in the event, marking the day with dedication and energy. This year, the 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated under the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health, ” emphasizing the vision of good health for every individual on the planet.

Key officials from the Amritsar unit of BYS, including Virendra Dhawan (Patron), Satish Mahajan and Manmohan Kapoor from state body, Sunil Kapoor, Master Mohanlal, Giridhari Lal, Pramod Sodhi, and others, were present on the occasion and paid tribute to the founder of the organization. Practitioners from approximately 55 centers across Amritsar took part in the yoga session.

Dressed in white and surrounded by the lush greenery of Company Bagh, the yoga practitioners presented a truly serene and blissful sight as they performed various yogic postures.

The event also included a discussion on the origin and significance of the International Yoga Day, initiated by the Government of India. It was highlighted that across the nation, Yoga Day was celebrated at over 100, 000 locations, with large-scale public participation in yoga sessions. Additionally, practitioners from over 4, 500 centers of the Bharatiya Yog Sansthan in India and abroad actively participated in yoga sessions today.
