AMRITSAR: Three meetings of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) of its Dharam Prachar Committee, Sikh Itihas Research Board and Education Committee were held today at Sri Guru Ramdas University of Health Sciences Vallah in Sri Amritsar under the presidentship  of  Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.

CHANDIGARH: A new turn has come in the live Gurbani and Shabad kirtan telecast from Sri Harmandir Sahib issue. J K Jain who is a renowned News and TV Programme production house owner and who is also Chairman of the Punjab Today TV network has expressed his desire to telecast live Gurbani and Shabad kirtan from the holiest Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib without any monetary considerations and on high definition format, currently, the telecast is being done in digital format.

CHANDIGARH: Urging Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) to allow the state government to install the advanced broadcast/communication technologies at Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday said that the Punjab government can provide all possible help in disseminating the ‘Sarb Sanji Gurbani’ across the globe with an aim to spread the universal message of ‘Sarbat da Bhala’ (welfare of all).

AMRITSAR: Mr Harjinder Singh Dhami, president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), has strongly condemned the incident disrespect of Gurbani and demanded action against the accused.
