MOHALI: The Punjab Senior Vets Association , here today welcomed Dr Sangeeta Toor, who had recently assumed charge of the post of Director Animal Husbandry Punjab.
Former Director Animal Husbandry Punjab Dr Sanjeev Khosla, former Joint Director and member Punjab State Veterinary Council Dr Gurinder Singh Walia, Deputy Director Dr Madhukesh Palta, Deputy Director Statistics Dr Desh Deepak Goyal and Dr Rajesh Juneja met Dr Toor and presented a bouquet. They said that it was a matter of great pride and happiness that she had taken over as first female Director of Animal Husbandry in Punjab state. They expressed the hope that with her administrative acumen and technical skills, she would take the department to new heights of growth trajectory. On the occasion, Dr Toor said that she would do her best to serve the department.
