Gates for farmers to cross barbed wire will be opened from tomorrow: Dhaliwal

AMRITSAR: Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal announced to open the gates for the farmers from tomorrow. Mr. Dhaliwal said that now our farmers will be able to come to their fields as usual from tomorrow.

Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal today reached the Ajnala border and thanked the BSF officers and jawans, who strictly guarded the border during the recent crisis that hit the country.

Today, while reaching the border post Shahpur and presenting baskets of sweets and fruits to the jawans, the Cabinet Minister thanked the security forces on behalf of Punjab.

Speaking about the news received from the army today that Pakistan had targeted Sri Darbar Sahib, he said that the Pakistani soldiers showed very bad thinking, who tried to attack such a big religious place.

He said that our soldiers deserve congratulations, who reduced the target set by Pakistan to ashes in the air.

He said that we are proud of our jawans and whenever they need us in the future, we will always stand by them on behalf of the Punjab government and the farmers.

Sharing the problems of the farmers farming across the barbed wire fence on the border with the BSF officials, he announced to open the gates for the farmers from tomorrow. Mr. Dhaliwal said that now our farmers will be able to come to their fields as usual from tomorrow.
