Camps will be reorganized once the flood situation normalizes: Jakhar
CHANDIGARH: In view of the severe flood situation across Punjab due to heavy rainfall, the public welfare camps being organized under the BJP's "Sewadar Aa Gaye Tuhade Dwar" (BJP's volunteers have come to your doorstep) campaign have been postponed. This information was shared by Sunil Jakhar, Punjab State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
As soon as the flood situation in Punjab normalizes, the BJP will organize camps across the state to legally extend the benefits of the Narendra Modi government’s public welfare schemes—aimed at supporting the poor, unemployed, farmers, Dalits, women, and youth—to every section of society in Punjab through Common Service Centers (CSCs).
Jakhar stated that for the past few days, senior BJP leaders and workers have been visiting flood-affected areas, trying to alleviate people’s difficulties and providing all possible assistance. Due to these efforts, these social welfare camps have been temporarily postponed.
