Three Canadian members of Parliament pay obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib

AMRITSAR: Canadian Members of Parliament Mr Jasraj Singh Hallan, Mr Amanpreet Singh Gill and Mr Dalwinder Singh Gill ਪੇਡ obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib today.

On this occasion, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, senior Akali leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Chief Secretary Kulwant Singh Mannan honored S. Jasraj Singh Hallan, S. Amanpreet Singh Gill, Dalwinder Singh Gill and senior journalist Sukhjinder Singh Chohla who came with them at the Information Center of Sri Darbar Sahib by presenting them with a golden model of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, a siropa and religious books.

On this occasion, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that Guru has blessed Sikhs to work for the welfare of all wherever they are. Under this, Sikhs living in the country and the world are making great strides by working according to the Guru's wishes.

On the soil of Canada too, Sikhs have achieved great positions in business as well as politics. Advocate Dhami said that it is a matter of happiness that Canadian Members of Parliament S. Jasraj Singh Hallan and S. Amanpreet Singh are completely in the Sikh form, who are a source of inspiration for the youth. He said that while the young MPs are doing great services in their field, they are also making a big contribution to the propagation of Sikhism. He welcomed them on their arrival in Sri Amritsar on behalf of the SGPC and expressed his commitment to provide all kinds of support for the propagation of Sikhism in Canada.

On this occasion, senior Akali leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that it is a matter of pride that there are a large number of Punjabi MPs in the Canadian Parliament, from whom the community has always had high expectations. He said that they are also rendering excellent services in their field.

Dr Cheema appealed that our youth should always be connected to their soil and heritage, for this, efforts should be made.
Meanwhile, Canadian Members of Parliament Jasraj Singh Hallan, Amanpreet Singh Gill, Dalwinder Singh Gill expressed their gratitude and said that with the blessings of Guru Sahib, they have got the opportunity to pay homage at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib today.

They said that they always feel proud to serve humanity by wearing a turban according to the Guru's philosophy and always try to be united and strive for the growth of Sikhism.

They especially mentioned that for them, the day they took oath as a member of the Canadian Parliament was the day on which the day of returning the Komagata Maru ship from Canada was being remembered. They said that this is also a great inspiration for them to work with more dedication.
