NURMAHAL:The Nurmahal police have arrested a local resident on the charge of kidnapping a minor.
Station House Officer (SHO) Gurindarjit Singh Nagra said that the accused has been identified as Jisan a resident of Mohalla Ravidas Pura Nurmahal .
Kamaldin a resident of Nurmahal had complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her minor daughter by inducing her on the pretext of marriage.
SHO said that a case under sections 363 (kidnapping) and366-A (procuration of minor girl) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
