PHAGWARA:Deep resentment was witnessed among BJP workers in Phagwara on late Saturday night when Union MOs Anurag Thakur arrived at Phagwara Railway Station, but no protocol was seen implemented by neither civil nor police administration. Senior BJP Leader Avtar Singh Mand who along with several BJP workers went to receive the Minister, noticed that not even a single constable was present at the time of arrival of the union minister. BJP workers led by Avtar Singh Mand today met SP Phagwara Malwinder Singh and submitted a memorandum full of resentment against open violation of the rules of protocol.
