RCED Signs MoU with State TB Office, Haryana under NTEP for Free Skill Training toTB Patients

CHANDIGARH: The Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State TB Office, Haryana, under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP), during the Inter-State Cross Border Coordination Meeting held on Saturday at Red Bishop, Sector 1, Panchkula.

The meeting was chaired by the Additional Chief Secretary (Health), Sudhir Rajpal, Dr. Bhramdeep, Director, Health Service Haryana, representing RCED, Mrs. Ashma (Facilitator) and Ms. Pragati Katoch presented the vision and mission of the organization, highlighting RCED’s continued commitment to inclusive development and community welfare. During the interaction, they announced a special initiative under which RCED will offer skill training programs under the CSR initiative of Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF) in Office Administration and Finance and Accounting Executive (Tally), exclusively for TB patients.

The fee for these certified courses will be completely waived off for the beneficiaries, and RCED will also provide placement opportunities to help them reintegrate into the workforce with dignity and confidence.

This collaborative initiative is a significant step towards empowering TB patients through skill development and employment, contributing meaningfully to their rehabilitation and self-reliance.
