CHANDIGARH: On the occasion of " International Day Against Drug Abuse and illicit Trafficking" Awareness Program was organized at Shiv Mandir Ramdarbar , Indira Colony and Hallomajra on Thursday in association with NGO SEHAT with Injecting Drug Users. On the topic Say No Drugs yes to life, Drug Free india, yudh nashe ke Virudh, Nasha mukt Bharat and Nope to Dope.
The event aims to spread awareness over the harmful effects of drug addiction and abuse. The day was useful in educating people about drug addiction disorders. In the presence of City dignitaries, NGO Office bearers and officers from Chandigarh police participants took pledge to Say no to Drugs.
People were also informed by Ms. Dimple Jarwal, Mrs Mamta, Sh kulwinder Singh, Rimple, Manoj Kumar shukla and Sandeep kumar about the free legal Aid and other Services provided by legal Aid Clinic Ramdarbar under the supervision of District Legal Services Authority Chandigarh.
