CHANDIGARH: GMSSS 27 organized its annual function to honour the achievers of academic session 2021-22 here on Monday.
The chief guest of the function was councillor of ward number 10, Mrs Harpreet Kaur and Mr Ravinder Babla , Ex Counscillor was invited as special guest .The function was presided over by the Principal of the school .The event unfolded with the lighting of lamp by chief guest followed by Saraswati Vandana . The events of the day included solo dance performances , group dances by students of different age groups , gatka , Bhangra etc.
The prizes (multipurpose study tables , dictionary , story books, insulated Water bottles etc ) were distributed among the students who performed well during the year.
The chief guest has encouraged and motivated the students through her speech and advised to emphasis sports and other co-curricular activities besides academics.
The Ppincipal of the school Mrs.Monika Puri appreciated the students for their talent and active participation in various activities throughout the year .She also emphasized on the importance of covid-19 vaccination and motivated students of age group 12 -18 years to get vaccinated on priority.
In the end she thanked everyone for making the event a great success. Fruits were distributed among all the students as refreshment.
