Adviser Discusses Road Map For Integrated Command And Control Centre

CHANDIGARH:A meeting under the Chairmanship of Mr Dharam Pal, Adviser to the Administrator
was held here on Monday to discuss the road map for Integrated Command Control Centre, the
“nerve centre” built for operations management in the city with day-to-day operation
The ICCC was inaugurated on March 27 last by the Union Homer and Cooperation Minister
MrAmit Shah with a vision to maintain safety and surveillance of the city and at the same time host
smart solutions. It is a step towards syncing all the departments for better coordination.

This would further strengthen the planning and implementation of various government schemes and
programmes.
The meeting highlighted the pivotal role of departments in making this project a real time
success. The Adviser stressed on using the ICCC as an interface to coordinate among multiple
departments. He added that major departments shall share their data that can be intelligently
processed and used via ICCC.
The ICCC shall be able to share the real time information by syncing the data of different
departments of the Administration for day to day operations. Fetching data of children from
Anganwadis to collecting their vaccination status at hospitals, this centre shall be able to provide
every intricate information to the support staff in no time.
It was discussed that the Centre would also act like a single window for citizens wherein a
common help desk and a common helpline number will be set up.
The Adviser also discussed the Gati Shakti’ scheme of Government of India wherein he
stressed the Administrative Secretaries to explore the proper implementation of this scheme in
Chandigarh to bring in more holistic and integrated planning and execution of projects.  
Mr Nitin Kumar Yadav, Home Secretary, Dr. Vijay Namdeorao Zade, Finance Secretary, Mr
Debendra Dalai, Chief Conservator of Forests, Smt. Anindita Mitra, Commissioner M.C., Mr Yashpal
Garg, Secretary Health, Mr Vinay Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Purva Garg, Secretary
Education were also present during the meeting.
