MOHALI: Dr Dalip Kumar, mission coordinator of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) Department of higher education, Chandigarh administration, presented a special thematic talk on suitable use of technology-way for Aatam Nirbhar Bharat at the Rayat Bahra University.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor welcomed the expert speaker. Prof. (Dr) Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor explained in detail the new education policy.
Sahila Bahra, Vice-President, Rayat Bahra Group, spoke on the faculty development programme for teachers. Prof. B.S. Satyal, Registrar of the University introduced Dr. Dalip Kumar and Dr. Gurfateh Singh; Head University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, conducted the event as organizing secretary of the event.
Dr. Dalip Kumar who has held prestigious positions like former dean in faculty of Dairying, Animal husbandry and agriculture, Panjab University, Chandigarh, spoke about the NEP 2020.
He said that the faculty and students should use National Digital Library. He emphasized on diversification in research areas as suggested NEP 2020. He highlighted the importance of technology in the improvement of education process.
He discussed in detailed about artificial intelligence, machine learning, block chains, smart boards, computing devices and adaptive computer technologies.
He encouraged RBU to use these new ideas to achieve better admission
