BANUR: The Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) hosted a dynamic Entrepreneurship Development Program on behalf of District Industries Centre (DIC) Mohali. This initiative, part of the State Plan Scheme VSI – 23, aimed at fostering entrepreneurial spirit and equipping aspiring business owners with essential knowledge and resources. Under the insightful guidance of seasoned professionals, the event proved to be an enlightening journey into the realm of entrepreneurship.
Mr. Charanjit Singh, a distinguished Senior Consultant at RCED, set the tone with a warm welcome, paving the way for Mr. Satvinder Singh, another Senior Consultant, to delve into the essence of entrepreneurship and its indispensable role in today's economic landscape. Mr. Singh passionately elaborated on the imperative need for entrepreneurship in driving innovation, economic growth, and job creation. The session further unfolded with an in-depth exploration led by Mr. Amanpreet Singh, Inspector at the District Industries Centre (DIC) Mohali. Mr. Singh adeptly navigated through the intricacies of identifying viable business opportunities and elucidated the pivotal role of DIC and other support facilities in nurturing entrepreneurial ventures. A comprehensive PowerPoint presentation showcased various schemes and banking norms crucial for aspiring entrepreneurs to leverage.
The seminar culminated with insightful concluding remarks from Mr. M.K Bhardwaj, the Lead District Manager, Mohali.
