MANDI GOBINDGARH: Department of Corporate Relations Cell of Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh organized a campus placement drive. In this drive AFI (Agro Feed Industry) from Khanna was invited. Panel of two members of AFI came for searching suitable talent by conducting interviews of the students for the post of Technical Support Associate, providing backend support to customers through email and chat and troubleshooting technical issues.
Dr HK Sidhu, Head, Department of Agriculture, said that more than 65 students from the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Management participated in the campus recruitment drive, out of which 37 candidates qualified the first round. Qualified candidates were then assessed on their communication skills, after which 15 candidates were shortlisted for the said posts.
Dr Rajni Saluja, Head, Department of Management, said that this campus placement drive was very useful for the students. Placement drives give students the requisite platform and direction to move forward on their career path.
She congratulated the selected new recruits and wished them luck for their career.
