Panjab University Students Bring Glory to India at Commonwealth Fencing Championships 2026
CHANDIGARH: Panjab University, Chandigarh, takes immense pride in the outstanding international achievements of its students, who have brought laurels to the University and the nation through their commendable performances at the Under-23 Commonwealth Fencing Championships 2026.
Three talented students of Panjab University delivered exceptional performances in their respective fencing events, contributing significantly to India’s medal-winning campaign.
Ms. Aarya Ashwani secured the Individual Bronze Medal in Sabre and was also part of the Gold Medal-winning Indian Team in the Sabre Team Event at Commonwealth Fencing Championships 2026.
Mr. Shaurya Ashwani won the Individual Bronze Medal in Epee and contributed to India’s Gold Medal-winning performance in the Epee Team Event.
Ms. Yashkeerat Kaur was also a member of the Gold Medal-winning Indian Epee Team, making a significant contribution to the country’s success at the international championship.
