CHANDIGARH:Punjab State Women Commission chairperson Mrs. Manisha Gulati today asked the higher officials of the police department to evolve new policy for the early disposal of the dowry case properties lying in abundant in the police stations of the state. She was presiding over a meeting at Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration’s Conference Hall to resolve the problem faced by women, which was attended by Senior Vice Chairperson Mrs. Bimla Sharma, Vice Chairperson Mrs. Amritveer Kaur, Members Mrs. Shalini Sharma, Mrs. Kiranpreet Kaur Dhami, Mrs. Inderjit Kaur, Mrs. Jagdarshan Kaur, Mrs. Madhu Sharma, Mrs. Rajeshwari Koshish, Mrs. Sarvjit Kaur Mann and Mrs. Kuldeep Sapna and ADGP Punjab Police Mr. B. Chandar Shekhar. During the meeting, matter related to release the recovered case property in the dowry cases, which are pending in the courts of the state, is discussed threadbare.
