KAITHAL: An accused was arrested by the Pundri police in the case of embezzling the funds of the government scheme by preparing a fake death certificate.
Police spokesperson said that as per the complaint of Dharampal son of village Sirsal, he is alive, but his fake death certificate was prepared by some unknown person showing him dead . After this, an amount of two lakh fifteen thousand rupees was also embezzled in his name under the government scheme. Regarding which, registering a case at Pundri police station, the police team under the leadership of SI Sanjay started investigating the matter. During the investigation, the fact came to light that Gulab Singh, resident of Sirsal village, along with one of his associates, systematically prepared fake documents of the death of the complainant and embezzled the amount of the government scheme. Taking action by SI Sanjay's team, the accused Gulab Singh has been arrested. Police remand of the accused has been obtained for one day for comprehensive interrogation.
